The Diploma in English Language and Literature is a 6 month academic programme designed to meet the needs of students who wish to enhance their English language, Literature and communication skills. The main focus of this course is to make students and working adults proficient in English language in order to make them successful in their careers, and to enable them to cope up with the modern world. This programme also introduces students to the major literary. The syllabus is designed giving equal weight to the skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Along with English, our syllabus has been designed to give students insights about cultural norms, personality development and academic skills development, for the overall aim of IOLPS is to create a confident user of English proud of his or her own culture and language, while being able to utilize a second language to the maximum effect. The IOLPS finally aims to make a good scholar able to meet the challenges of the world successfully.
